Agility Dog Training Classes

$115 for 6 weeks

Online registration is available with credit card. To submit your registration with cash or check payment, click here to download a printable form to include with your payment.

Children over 6 are welcome to attend classes, however adults are responsible for handling dogs, unless otherwise previously approved by instructor. To inquire about junior handlers, please contact instructor prior to registration.

Beginner I

Instructed by Mary Keays
$115 / 45 minutes per week for 6 weeks
By the end of the 6-week Beginner Agility Course a dog will be comfortable on and capable of executing all of the following obstacles on leash:

  • Dog Walk (at 2 foot height),
  • A Frame (at 4 foot height),
  • Pause Table at 12 inch height.
  • Weave poles set 1 foot apart at the top
  • Flexible tunnel with a slight curve in it.
  • Closed tunnel - short training chute
  • Tire jump at 12 inch height.
  • See-Saw at 6 inch height

The New Englad Agility Team members will be practicing in our Training Room following our Sunday Beginner Class. Students are encouraged to stay for a short while after class to watch and learn!

Beginner II - III

Instructed by Mary Keays
$115 / 45 minutes per week for 6 weeks
By the end of the 6 week Beginner II course, a dog will be capable of executing all of the following obstacles:

  • Dog Walk (at 3 foot height),
  • A Frame (at 5 foot height),
  • Pause Table at 12 inch height.
  • Weave poles set 6 inches apart at the top
  • Flexible tunnel with full curve
  • Closed tunnel - short training chute
  • Tire jump at 12 inch height.
  • See-Saw at 6 inch height
  • Dog will also be doing at least 6 obstacles in succession.

Intermediate I

  • Pause Table
  • Weave poles set 3 inches apart
  • Flexible tunnel with full curve
  • Closed tunnel - full length chute (outside classes)
  • Tire jump at competition height for this dog
  • See-Saw at 12 inch height

Dog will be under good voice control and working mostly off leash, dog and handler will be in the process of learning front crosses, back crosses, lead-out, and sends.

  • A Frame (at 5 foot 6 inch height)
  • Pause Table
  • Weave poles set to vertical with entry cues as needed
  • Flexible tunnel with full curve or S shaped
  • Closed tunnel - full length chute (outside classes)
  • Tire jump at competition height for this dog
  • See-Saw at 18 inch height

Dog will be under voice control and working off leash, dog and handler will understand front crosses, back crosses, lead-outs, and sends.

Cancellation Policy:

There is a $25 cancellation fee up to 7 days prior to the
start of class. If cancellation is received less than 7
days prior to class start, all fees are non-refundable and
will result in a donation of the total fee amount to the
NHSPCA. A tax deduction receipt will be sent to you.
