Seminar
offers Information, Training on Canine Aggression
Nationally renowned canine behavior expert Dr. Myrna Milani, BS,
DVM is coming to the New Hampshire SPCA to give a two day seminar
on canine aggression. The seminar will be held at the Learning Center
for Pets and People in Stratham, April 8-9, 2006, 9:00 am-5:00 pm
each day. The cost of the seminar is $175 per person (includes lunch
both days) and participants must pre-register to attend. Sorry,
no dogs are permitted.
The seminar, entitled The Behavioral, Physiological, and Bond Components
Underlying Normal and Inappropriate Canine Aggression, will cover
key canine behavioral concepts, the intricacies of the human-animal
relationship, canine aggression, rehabilitation criteria and much
more. The seminar is designed for veterinarians, dog trainers, behaviorists,
shelter workers, dog enthusiasts, interested dog owners and any
person who wants to better understand dog aggression. Those who
participate are eligible to earn continuing education units (IAABC
13 units - CCPDT 15 units - NHBVM 6 units).

The New Hampshire SPCA is a community resource center which provides
animal adoption, education, investigation and sheltering services
