Dog on the run in Greenland

Stratham NH – Last Wednesday an Akita was adopted from the NHSPCA in Stratham and was on its way to the veterinarian in Greenland. “Kita” as the dog is known, got away from her owner and has been missing ever since.

The Field Services Division of the NHSPCA requests that anyone seeing the dog call them immediately at (603) 772-2921 or 603-674-9836 so that Kita can be captured and safely returned to her new owner.

Kita is a large, fluffy Akita weighing in around 90 lbs. She is 9 years old, mostly tan color with grey around her muzzle.

The New Hampshire SPCA is a community resource center that provides animal adoption, education, investigation and sheltering services in a professional and compassionate way. The Adoption Center is open from 11 am – 4pm on Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 11 am – 7pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and closed on Wednesday. For more information about the NHSPCA, visit www.nhspca.org.
