t

Sunday, June 1st
at Stratham Hill Park on Route 33, Stratham, NH

Put your paws to the pavement and help the homeless animals of the New Hampshire SPCA

Why Should You Raise Money for the NHSPCA?

  • In 2007, the Adoption Center received 1,822 Cats/Kittens and successfully adopted out 1,502. That same year 1,516 Dogs/Puppies were received and 1,174 found their forever homes.

  • 100% of the dogs and cats placed into adoptive families are spayed/neutered and microchipped before they leave the New Hampshire SPCA.

  • The New Hampshire SPCA is rated 4-star by Charity Channel.

  • The New Hampshire SPCA employs one of only two full-time cruelty investigators in the state.
In 2007 alone there were 823 complaints investigated and nearly 200 animals rescued from dreadful situations as a result.

New This Year!
Post Paws Walk Thank You Concert
for all of our walkers’ hard work
and effort on behalf of the animals!!!

NEW!!! Online Fundraising with FirstGiving.com
We are very excited to announce...
a new, fast and easy way to raise money for the animals! This year the New Hampshire SPCA has teamed up with FirstGiving.com in order to allow our team and individual walkers to create personalized fundraising web pages! Walkers can upload their own photos and write their own inspirational messages to donors. Then when the page us up and running, it can be emailed or linked to any Facebook page. Donors can then make their donations online with credit cards and all of the donations come straight here to the New Hampshire SPCA - no need for the walker to collect cash or checks! This will be an amazing way to save time and raise a lot more money for the animals!

How to get started:

  • Click on the First Giving logo above. This will direct you to a page that contains information about Firstgiving. On that page click the Get Started button.
  • Walkers can either register online or in person to be an individual walker or a team member.
To register online, one MUST START BY visiting www.nhspca.org and click on the
Firstgiving.com link on our homepage. DO NOT start at www.FirstGiving.com, pages created
here will not link to our event. For those who register in person or by sending in cash or checks
the process is the same. There will be a place to indicate on the registration page that the
    registration was completed offline.
  • Once registered, select the event - Paws Walk 2008 should be the only option and the
NHSPCA banner should appear on the top of the page the whole time. Once the event is
selected the custom page creation can begin! Upload pictures of a favorite pet, the NHSPCA
YouTube video, anything that will personalize the message and help raise money for our animals!

For any FirstGiving.com related problems or questions please call Meghan at 603-772-2921 ext. 105
or contact FirstGiving.com support directly at (617) 591-2121.
