We Are In Need Of:
Large Sized Bird Supplies
Such As: Food, Toys, Perches and Treats

Storm & Cloud

Storm and Cloud are two adorable male Budgies (Parakeets) who are best of friends! They share everything from toys to treats and love to sing and chirp all day long. These funny little guys will keep you entertained with their antics and song. They have been bounced around from home to home for a while and are really looking for someone who will be their forever family. Is it you?

Kringle

Kringle is an adult Orange Winged Amazon. We don't know for sure if Kringle is a male or female (not DNA tested). He was transferred here from another shelter. Kringle is currently in foster care with an experienced family so we can evaluate his temperament in a calm and controlled setting. He is currently doing very well transitioning to a healthy diet and enjoys fresh fruits and veggies daily, as well as chewing and playing with his toys! Kringle is somewhat fearful and timid, but has a sweet demeanor and gentleness about him. We don't have any information on his history or how old he may be, but he does have a rounded open leg band which could indicate he is a wild caught bird, making him over 20 years old. This is just a guess though, as no bird leg band can truly provide much information. Kringle will require an adopter who has prior large bird handling experience and the patience and time it will take to help this very special bird adjust to a new home.

We Have Rats!

Rats Rule! Rats are wonderful pets that can form close bonds with their "people". They are incredibly intelligent and clean despite rumors to the contrary. Cleaning your rat cage once a week will keep your rat(s) healthy and happy! They need a nutritious combination of lab blocks and fresh vegetables, and they love the occasional banana chip (or similar treat) thrown in! Rats can become obese with too many treats though, so it is recommended that they have at least one hour of exercise out of their cages each day. The NHSPCA currently has 16 rats up for adoption ranging from babies to seniors. Adopt a rat today!

Theodora, Portia and Tamara

Baby Mice, All Females. These little girls were born in foster care. Theodora is their 5 month old mother.

Shay & Chaco

Rats, 8 months old, males. These two boys are badly in need of some TLC! Shay and Chaco were found abandoned in a recycling bin. Shay (black) is the more outgoing of the two, but Chaco will come out of his shell with plenty of love and attention. These boys were taken out with the trash at their previous home and are now looking for an owner who will treat them like treasure! Shay and Chaco are companion rats and must be adopted together.

Norman

Mouse, Male, 18 weeks old. Norman was part of an unwanted litter. He has lived with dogs and cats and lives to be held. He needs a family that will continue to socialize and handle him daily.

Octavius

Mouse, Male, Baby. Octavius was born in foster care and needs a family that will continue to socialize and handle him.
