Make a Planned Gift

Make A Commitment to a Humane Future

Consider a Planned Gift to the NHSPCA

At the coming of a New Year people often take time to reflect upon the past and make plans for the future. Now may be a good time to take stock of your assets and consider setting aside something to help the many homeless and neglected animals that need our care at the NHSPCA.

You don't need to be wealthy to make a planned gift to the NHSPCA and it is wonderful way to make a difference in the lives of the animals. There can be many tax advantages depending on the type of gift you establish and many ways to give that offer benefit to the donor during their lifetime.

Bequests through Wills
Name the New Hampshire SPCA in your will. It is one of the easiest ways to make a lasting contribution to your charitable concern. Bequests may be in the form of a stated dollar amount, property, a percentage or the residuary of an estate.

Outright Gifts
Make an outright gift of appreciated securities, cash or real estate. Your gift may provide ideal tax savings for you and sizeable gifts to the New Hampshire SPCA.

Life Insurance
Name the New Hampshire SPCA as the beneficiary of an existing life insurance policy or donate a policy that you already own and name the New Hampshire SPCA as the owner and beneficiary.

Retirement Plans
Name the New Hampshire SPCA as the beneficiary of a portion or your entire retirement plan.

Charitable Remainder Trusts
Place the assets in a trust and the earnings are paid as income to you and your beneficiaries. Upon the death of the last beneficiary, the principal goes to the New Hampshire SPCA.

Charitable Lead Trusts
Place assets in a trust for a specified period of time. Earnings go to the New Hampshire SPCA during the life of the trust. The principal goes to your beneficiaries when the trust terminates.

Charitable Gift Annuities
Establish a charitable gift annuity. It is a terrific way to turn your assets into a meaningful gift while enhancing your lifetime income and maximizing tax benefits.
