go out for walks? Then this workshop is for you and
your dog! Using fun games you can play with your dog,
we'll show you how to get the reliable recall you are
looking for and enjoy your walks with your dog!

Scent
Games: The Nose Knows

Have
you ever noticed that dogs live by their nose? A dog’s
sense of smell is more powerful than we can possibly imagine.
So let’s put that powerful nose to good use!
Today, people use dogs in a variety of roles due to their
superior olfactory ability. Dogs have invaluable roles
with search and rescue teams, in identifying contraband,
and keeping tabs on endangered species to name just a
few. Recently, dogs have even been trained to identify
bladder cancer in humans. We will pair scents to a behavior
and object, learn air scent games and the new box work
and some outdoor tracking and trailing games too!

participants receive a workbook that they can keep,
and two certificates,one for their wall and one for
their wallet. Certification is good for two years.
